Haiku is a range of hoods that combine form, materials and performance. Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry characterized by a minimalist written form but rich in conceptual content and meaning. As the name suggests, the Haiku hoods epitomize simplicity of form yet offer a host of features which sit in complete harmony. Haiku is available in wall versions of 32, 60, 90 and 120 cm and in island versions of 32, 120, 180 cm.
Continue readingThe original building is a 100-year-old Tianjin shipyard, respecting and paying tribute to the historical significance of the original building. The designer designed the project through the concept of a large ship driving on the sea, connecting the original showroom and the sales office which two separate buildings, through a corridor to form a complete building, and using the streamlined shape of the ship to design the building's outline, and with the design of the waterscape, the shape of thea large ship driving on the sea is formed.
Continue readingVilla AT is located on a high vantage point, with an L-shaped floor plan pivots around a long curved glass façade, offering cinematic views of the landscape. The house stands in contrast to these boxy, conventional forms with a curving façade that uses wood in a fluid, contemporary way. Thin timber slats gently curve around the façade to create strong but soft forms. From a distance, the Villa AT has a serene, minimal appearance, but up close the rough texture of timber slats become apparent.
Continue readingThe stand design illustrates the creative approach of Oka company to the importance of design in its products. The outer skin of the stand is a half-transparent facade, where randomly wooden lamellas strengthen by key values, which are driven by OKA company, which concentrate and direct the visitor to the hollow entrance which suks them inside the stand and reveals the world of OKA furniture. The stand in a metaphor of a creative process which starts with the initial idea which is driven by the design and ends up in the final piece of furniture.
Continue readingThe WKS Group focuses on rotary web offset printing in German-speaking Europe and environmental protection plays a central role within their company. Since the goal was to make their new environmental statement available primarily as a digital publication, the analogue, haptic world (paper structure, cut edges, etc.) was transported into the digital world. For the individual chapters, environmental symbols were made of paper collages, photographed and used as key visuals. At the same time, the linear graphics and illustrations form a design counterpoint to the factual part of the explanation.

What the viewers need is to savor each moment of self-content and fulfillment in existence itself. This design demonstrates a radical transcendence in concept expression and the creation of field emotions, which the beauty of flexibility and liveliness radiates its charm.
