Cozy White
Cozy White is a residential interior design for a maisonette in Taipei, Taiwan. The home was planned for a family of four. A loft-style layout connects the two levels and makes use of daylight from both sides. White covers about 80 percent of the large walls, storage cabinets and stair structure, balanced by black and grey tones. Metal, marble, mirrored glass and warm wooden flooring are used. A space-saving spiral staircase with iron supports and wooden treads replaces the former stair. Concrete texture is applied to the beam surface instead of a false ceiling.
Cozy White Residential by Creative Group has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Cozy White Residential earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
