The Secret Garden
The Secret Garden is a residential landscape design for a housing development in Foshan. The garden covers 42300 square meters and combines classical and modern features. Flowers, grass, mounds and stones are arranged in a controlled pattern, and sculptures are placed along the route. Water features run through the whole site, from a spring path at the entrance to a waterfall in the rear garden. The layout keeps the walking route clear, so residents can move through the garden without losing direction. The design offers city residents a calm place close to nature.
The Secret Garden Residential Landscape by Weiling Huang was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The Secret Garden Residential Landscape received the Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020.
