Frame
Frame is a sales office interior located in Tianjin, China. The space covers 1200 square meters and is arranged on two floors. The first floor holds the hall display area and a coffee lounge, while the second floor contains a VIP reception and an office area. The entrance foyer is a two-story open volume without partitions. A frame structure of shaped blocks and grilles divides the space and defines each function. Contrasts of light, color, and texture give the interior the character of an art gallery placed inside a box.
Frame Sales Office by Kris Lin was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Frame Sales Office earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
