Fall Mountain
Red Leaves of the Fall Mountain is a residential apartment interior of 317 square meters in Taichung City, Taiwan. A suspended marble cabinet, carried by H-steel, defines the entrance and screens the view of the hallway. Circulation between the living room and the kitchen is smooth in all directions. The study behind the dining table uses electric glass film that can be switched between matt and clear through a mobile application. A constant ceiling height hides the pipelines, and the bed faces the window for morning sunlight.
Fall Mountain Residential Apartment by Shi Zhe Lo was identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fall Mountain Residential Apartment received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
