Evergreen
Evergreen is a landscape design for a residential community. Clear geometric planes and layered light and shadow turn an irregular outdoor space into a garden with several levels and varied functions. Circular walk paths guide movement and link areas of different heights. The surrounding pools form a continuous water landscape and help lower nearby temperatures. Evergreen and drought tolerant plants reduce water use and maintenance. A roof garden with native ground cover plants and solar panels also provides a shaded resting area.
Evergreen Landscape by Hsu Fu Chu was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Evergreen Landscape was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes superior design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
