Qianhai MCC Technology Building

Qianhai MCC Technology Building is a commercial and office complex in Shenzhen, China. The design separates a tall tower building from a lower podium building. The facade of the tower is inspired by the elegant curves of fancy carp, abstracted into tall and straight lines. Different materials define each part of the curved facade, and the middle and lower sections use folded plate surfaces that refract sunlight in varied ways. The podium building combines commercial and office spaces and holds a commercial display area with a terrace on the top level.

Qianhai MCC Technology Building Commercial Space by Shenzhen Qianhai MCTD Co. Ltd. has been identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Qianhai MCC Technology Building Commercial Space was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
