Paradise Village
Paradise Village is the interior design of a villa located in Anji, Zhejiang, China. The villa covers 674 square metres and was completed in April 2020. The design follows the principle of respecting nature and protecting the local ecology. Straw wallpaper and bamboo elements give the rooms a natural character within an oriental order. Lattice doors open and close around a central axis, so light and shadow move through the interior. Time, space and light link the residents with the surrounding landscape and create a calm setting for rest.
Paradise Village Villa by Ben Wu has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Paradise Village Villa won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
