Bathing in Coziness
Bathing in Coziness is a residential interior design for a 185 square metre home in Taichung, Taiwan. The foyer, living room, dining room and kitchen are opened into one area, and solid wall partitions are reduced. A grid screen divides the foyer, while a low marble wall and the original structural beam define the boundary between the living room and the kitchen. Natural solid wood, veneer and marble keep their original appearance, and the television wall is finished with natural mineral sand coating.
Bathing in Coziness Residential Space by Wanmei Space Design Studio has been highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bathing in Coziness Residential Space received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
