Gemdale Casa Oia
Gemdale Casa Oia is the interior design of a property sales center in Beihai, China. The 1060 square meter space takes nature as its theme and expresses the relationship between mountain and sea. A minimalist design language narrates the rolling form of sea waves and translates the form into an art installation. Black, white, gray and warm tones are combined with hues drawn from the sea. Stone-like artworks on the walls show the transition of different blue shades. The materials include art paint, grey stone, cement stone and metal plate.
Gemdale Casa Oia Sales Center by DAS Design Co.,Ltd was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gemdale Casa Oia Sales Center received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
