Flow
Flow is a sales and exhibition center located in Chengdu, China. The interior covers 2000 square meters over two floors. The first floor holds the reception and display area. The second floor holds the model display area, the conversation area and the construction method display area. Water and light are the two themes of the design. A light cube installation hangs above water at the entrance and draws people inside. Curved walls made of glass fibre reinforced gypsum recall ripples and form a continuous, fluid space.
Flow Sale Center by Kris Lin has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Flow Sale Center received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
