Phoenix Mansion
Phoenix Mansion is a sales center in Chengdu, China. The building covers 200 square meters and is built with aluminum panels, glass and stone. The entrance is placed at a corner, where a long overhang forms a horizontal transitional space that invites visitors inside. Landscape elements in the front yard refer to classic Chinese gardens. Courtyards planted with bamboo are set on the east and west sides. The white central space has a sloped roof that reflects sunlight. French windows connect the interior and exterior spaces.
Phoenix Mansion Sales Center by gad was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Phoenix Mansion Sales Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which honors excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
