Whale Tail
This piece of urban furniture is a versatile element for both indoors and outdoors. The shape of the seat and its support makes the bench resemble the tail of a whale without compromising its ergonomics and stability. A thin layer of fibreglass covers its inner core of wood or concrete enriched with recycled plastic. It can be placed alone or in small groups.
Whale Tail Sitting Bench by Enrique Mínguez Ros was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Whale Tail Sitting Bench received the Silver A' Design Award in Garden and Outdoor Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Garden and Outdoor Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that honors excellent design of deck chairs, garden benches, picnic tables, patio sets, outdoor daybeds, hammocks, fire pits, sun loungers and more.
