Canopy by Hilton
Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou Jinsha Lake is a hotel lighting design shaped by local culture. The lobby features a pendant inspired by the osmanthus, a local flower traditionally planted in front of homes to welcome guests, and heron light sculptures inspired by birds seen at the nearby Jinsha Lake. Hidden LED lights behind the front desk suggest the waves of the Qiantang River. Energy saving LED fixtures with a high color rendering index are used throughout. Public areas are lit at 3000K and guestrooms at 2700K. Hidden lights make the canopy bed frame appear detached from the wall and ceiling.
Canopy by Hilton Hotel by LDPi (China Branch) has been highlighted as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Canopy by Hilton Hotel received the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that celebrates excellent design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
