Benin Branding

Benin

Benin is a brand identity created for a family-run coffee company with more than 30 years of experience. The identity supports the expansion of the coffee shop business into a franchise model. A smiling Cherub icon serves as the central symbol, referring to the Renaissance and to Italy, the homeland of premium coffee. Bright pink, blue, yellow and red tones and a texture of angelic clouds carry a cheerful mood. To-go cups and paper bags are printed on natural paper with CMYK offset, while metal tins preserve coffee quality.

Benin Branding by Anja Zambelli Colak has been featured as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Benin Branding earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
