Shuxiangyuan Model Room
Shuxiangyuan Model Room is a show apartment interior design of 222 square meters. The interior is concise, flexible and restrained. On the dining area wall, 185 stainless steel bricks are arranged with staggered lap joints and hammered surfaces, an unusual material choice for a home. Elements such as aurora, stars, cloud patterns, ink and plants are interpreted with modern techniques. The ink texture in the living room and the bamboo motif on a bedroom cabinet door were hand painted on site. Stone, tiles, wood veneer, copper and mirrors are also used.
Shuxiangyuan Model Room Show Flat by Xiaohui Chen and Jingwei Zhou has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Shuxiangyuan Model Room Show Flat was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
