Yudong CUN
Yudong CUN is a mascot design created for Yudong village, a farmers' painting village in China. The mascot is based on the fish figure that is characteristic of the village. The fish is drawn as a simple cartoon character and is combined with local farmers' painting motifs and with the flag symbols of countries around the world. The result is a colorful set of images that joins local culture with an international visual style. The mascot has no fixed size and can be produced as a static or animated graphic.
Yudong CUN Logo and Brand Design by Lingguang Chen has been selected as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yudong CUN Logo and Brand Design earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which rewards exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
