Dim Light
Dim Light is a residential interior design for a home of 330 square meters in Taiwan. Traditional cabinet and layout arrangements are discarded, and the spatial areas are connected through varied elements and materials. A large area of marble forms the main visual focus indoors. A curved ceiling cornice above the public space creates an elegant ambience. Titanium-plated panels, stone and KD veneer panels are layered to set the color of each surface. A hidden door panel allows the study and the dining room to remain independent or be joined.
Dim Light Residential Space by Wen-Ching Wu has been recognized as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dim Light Residential Space was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
