Longwan
Longwan Three Realms is a sales center covering 480 square meters. The layout uses circulation paths to divide functional areas and guide visitors. A custom wooden grille system encloses space while remaining permeable, keeping the original building frame and reducing added elements. Materials with natural qualities are layered to engage sight, touch and smell. A crushed stone mosaic floor reuses stone waste and avoids the cold feeling of standard marble or tiles. Art installations are made of pulp, a recyclable and easily shaped material. The design aims to convey calm and positive emotion.
Longwan Sales Center by Alan Wong was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Longwan Sales Center won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
