Wink
The Wink Collection is a range of seating that includes dining chairs, lounge chairs and bar chairs. Each piece has a convex elliptical backrest shaped like an eye, supported by slender solid wooden legs. The forms are produced with CNC technology combined with traditional woodworking skills. Anodized cast metal parts join the backrest to the frame, adding strength while keeping the structure light and open. The backrest is offered in solid wood or upholstered with foam backing, and sustainably sourced woods are available. The curved back shape supports long periods of seated conversation.
Wink Chair by Frans Schrofer has been identified as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wink Chair earned the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
