Poster Visual
Audio Technica Excellence is a poster series created for an audio equipment brand. The design places natural grass and seeds beside the precise mechanical parts of audio products. Both elements are arranged flat, so their shapes and fine colors can be compared in detail. All images were composed from photographs taken for the project. The texture refers to an old handwritten vegetation picture book, a choice made because the brand's products are analogue. The posters present sound as a natural part of human life.
Poster Visual Poster by Daisuke Sugahara has been identified as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Poster Visual Poster was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2022. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which honors outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
