Sparkling Bali
Sparkling Bali is a residential apartment interior set on the top three floors of an older building in Taiwan. The design follows a party theme, with indoor and outdoor gathering areas on the first and top floors. A glass staircase and patio bring natural light through all three levels. The stair facade and transparent steps hold storage and a wine collection, which saves space for social use. Water-corrugated stainless steel surrounds the sofa area, and a mirrored ceiling extends the low visual height. Mirrors also ease the narrow entry corridor.
Sparkling Bali Residential Apartment by Fang Ming Lo was recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Sparkling Bali Residential Apartment received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
