Dona Vitamina
Dona Vitamina is a brand identity project created for an existing juice brand. The logotype shows a cross-eyed Victorian lady sipping a juice, a humorous image of a woman who owns herself. To expand that idea, a series of illustrations of women of different ethnicities was drawn in a stencil style and paired with short, amusing phrases. The illustrations appear on menus, packaging, bags, postcards, stickers and a large handmade wall. Most printed items were produced by offset printing in CMYK colors, and the bags were silkscreened.
Dona Vitamina Branding by Ruis Vargas has been featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Dona Vitamina Branding received the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2022. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
