Nuogao Art
Nuogao Art is a commercial exhibition space for home furnishings, covering 1050 square meters in Foshan, China. The design replaces the stacked product displays common in home exhibition halls with a layout shaped by perception. Surfaces are embedded and cut away to form volumes that both shield and open the interior. Architectural techniques of cutting and connecting give the interior continuous visual penetration. Movement lines progress from the outside inward, so visitors experience the space step by step. Western classical elements are combined with Chinese garden methods.
Nuogao Art Commercial Space by Chen Fengfeng,Jiang Baoyi was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Nuogao Art Commercial Space was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
