CP Budapest
CP Budapest is an interior design project for a hotel on the Pest side of Budapest, near the Nyugati train station and the Westend City shopping mall. The work involved the modernisation and rebranding of an existing hotel building with 230 guest rooms. The lobby and the Axis bar are colourful and eclectic, recalling the nineteenth century train station nearby. The restaurant, corridors and guest rooms use calmer earthy tones, such as terracotta, beige and green. The interiors connect with the surroundings and welcome both hotel guests and local visitors.
CP Budapest Hotel by Magdalena Federowicz-Boule has been identified as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. CP Budapest Hotel earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
