Dream Home
Dream Home is a residential interior design for a family of four in Taiwan. The apartment sits on a high floor with good natural light. The partition between the living room and the kitchen was removed to open the view and simplify movement. Curved lines run from the foyer to the living room ceiling and echo a circular platform at the window. Materials include mirror, grey glass, Valchromat, clay plate, linen and marble, which add variety to the dark colour scheme. Environmentally friendly, durable and easy to clean materials were selected.
Dream Home Residential by Hsiao-Chi Chiang has been identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dream Home Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
