Scholar’s Pad
Scholar's Pad is a residential interior design for a three-story home with a total floor area of 132.2 square meters. Each floor has a distinct purpose. The first floor holds a living room, dining area and kitchen, separated by a slatted wood divider and a collapsible sliding glass door. The middle floor contains a study area and a lounge, with light wood tones, white walls and abundant natural light. A large table seats six, and a wide blackboard allows ideas and drawings to be shared. The third floor provides a quiet resting area.
Scholar’s Pad Interior Design by Chen Chia Yu was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Scholar’s Pad Interior Design received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
