Le Rendezvous
Le Rendezvous is a residential apartment interior of 188 square meters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The layout is inspired by Sanheyuan, a traditional Chinese courtyard house, in which rooms are linked by a winding passage. Each area is clearly separated, so privacy is kept from the entrance to the living room and the dining room. Marble, metal and wallpaper are combined with wood surfaces. Black and white trapezoid marble flooring marks the entrance, and white marble walls are outlined with golden inlays. Three bedrooms with private bathrooms are included.
Le Rendezvous Residential Apartment by Mu-Chin Chiang has been selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Le Rendezvous Residential Apartment earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
