Suzhou Drainage Museum
Suzhou Drainage Museum is a science museum about sewage treatment, designed with a submarine theme. The interior combines the forms of modern treatment equipment with cockpits, portholes and pipes. Clear circulation routes guide visitors through the stages of water purification, which include precipitation, filtration, adsorption, deep treatment and disinfection. Multimedia devices and hands-on activity areas replace passive presentation. Environmentally friendly materials create a simple and modern visual effect. The museum aims to raise ecological awareness through immersive learning.
Suzhou Drainage Museum Exhibition Hall by WhaleRider Architecture was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
