Vanke Red County Villa
Vanke Red County Villa is an interior design for a three-story house in Guangzhou, China, with a total area of 1,600 square meters. Overlapping circular arcs and geometric forms frame the living room view, so residents can see the natural changes of the four seasons. The dome ceiling is layered with light ribbons and paired with a marble fireplace. Chinese and Western aesthetics are combined, making the house both modern and classical. A coiled staircase and an elevator give the living space flexibility, and an underground wine cellar holds the wine collection.
Vanke Red County Villa Private House by Xu Liu was selected as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Vanke Red County Villa Private House received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
