Promenade
Promenade is a ten-story residential building in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Eight floors hold 54 apartments with one, two, or three bedrooms. The ground floor contains the entrance hall, several amenities, and commercial premises. A rooftop terrace offers a community garden and vegetable gardens. The facades are made of floor to ceiling glazing, black aluminium, and wood. Each apartment has a private terrace with pots that hold native plants and trees. The biophilic design connects residents with nature and supports a healthier daily life.
Promenade Residential Building by Natalia Ottonello has been highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Promenade Residential Building earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
