Promotion
Promotion is a dining chair made of North American black walnut. The design is inspired by the end grain of wood, the surface marked by tree rings. Small end grain squares are joined in order to form a pattern similar to a chessboard. A customized mortise and tenon structure keeps the frame stable while the shape remains simple. CNC engraving is used in production, and the surface is finished with wood wax oil. Sections cut at different angles create soft light and shade effects. The chair suits restaurants, homes and lounges.
Promotion Chair by Yeak design was highlighted as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Promotion Chair received the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that celebrates superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
