Grand Mansion
Grand Mansion is a model house interior design covering 110 square meters in Guangzhou. The living room omits the traditional sofa and background wall. A long multifunction table supports breakfast, video conferences, work, study and afternoon tea. The interior is divided into shared zones for rest, work and storage. A horizontal multifunction cabinet blurs the boundary between the living and dining areas. Materials include artistic paint, textured wall coverings, wood veneer, marble and brick. The layout responds to combined living and working needs.
Grand Mansion Model House by Rey Yaw was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Grand Mansion Model House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
