DHAWA Jinan Daming Lake
Dhawa Jinan Daming Lake is a resort hotel created within the former Jiangxi Guild Hall, built in the eighteenth century. The protected historical buildings were conserved and adapted for modern hospitality use. Traditional elements were studied and reinterpreted through new compositions, materials and textures. The hotel has a design area of about 16200 square meters and offers 99 guest rooms with bathrooms, bars, a spa, restaurants and conference rooms. A glass staircase with a grid glass ceiling brings daylight into the lobby and links the indoor and outdoor spaces.
DHAWA Jinan Daming Lake Resort Hotel by Muchuan Xu was selected as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Awards. DHAWA Jinan Daming Lake Resort Hotel earned the Golden A' Design Award in Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design in 2024. The A' Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which rewards superior design of hotels, restaurants, resorts, cafes, bars, cruise ships, theme parks, travel experiences and more.
