Supa Fama
Supa Fama is a restaurant and bar set over two floors within a shopping mall. The interior covers 950 square metres, with a ground floor of 650 square metres and a mezzanine of 300 square metres. The L-shaped plan is divided into a horseshoe-shaped bar and a dining hall arranged around a central courtyard planted with greenery. Raw iron and reclaimed timber are combined with living plants to contrast man-made and natural elements. The design draws on the image of a farmer's greenhouse and reflects the use of locally sourced produce.
Supa Fama Restaurant and Bar by Shelley Mock was recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Supa Fama Restaurant and Bar received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
