Boundless Forest
Boundless Forest is a reception center in Taiwan. The two-floor building covers 876 square meters and contains an outdoor area, a shared space and three show apartments. A wooden frame structure wraps the steel structure, while glass, grille, cypress, marble and stucco complete the material palette. Warm wood grain links the interior and the exterior and is highlighted by the lighting. In the shared space, window views replace solid walls and bring the surrounding greenery inside. Oriental aesthetics are applied in a simple and consistent manner.
Boundless Forest Reception Center by James Yen has been featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Boundless Forest Reception Center earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
