Rewind
Rewind is a residential interior design for a retirement apartment in Taiwan. The apartment stands on the twenty-seventh floor and has an interior area of 245 square meters. Hidden doors and sliding doors separate the social areas from the private areas. The wall behind the dining room is a sliding door with irregular laminated panels that add storage and conceal a passage to the private rooms. Marble with a wave pattern, titanium-plated metal, grilles, glass and wood define each surface. The kitchen is fully open and is fitted with an induction hob.
Rewind Residence by GT-SPACE INTERIOR DESIGN CO., LTD. was identified as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Rewind Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
