Optimal Care
Optimal Care is a residential interior design for a 186-square meter duplex penthouse. The renovated home holds a public area with a living room, dining room, relaxation area and Japanese-style tatami room, plus five bedrooms and four bathrooms. A two-story glass curtain brings natural light into the living room, and the open kitchen extends the shared space. Glass partitions link private rooms with public areas. Black, white and gray tones, wood and simple materials create a calm setting. Wide stairs and recessed handrails support the safety of the older residents.
Optimal Care Residence by Iuan Kai Fang was highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Optimal Care Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
