Chongqing Bowchuang
Chongqing Bowchuang is the interior design of an automobile sales and service store in Chongqing, China, with a total construction area of 25,000 square meters. The space brings together vehicle display, relaxation and social areas, so customers can spend waiting time in comfort. The design refers to the local landscape and culture, with columns shaped like tree trunks and misty visual effects. In the atrium, a lift and staircases connect the floors. Polymer clay, lightweight faux stone panels and ultra thin flexible stone veneer reduce the use of natural stone.
Chongqing Bowchuang Store by Horace Davids Engineering Design was selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Chongqing Bowchuang Store earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
