Client Vs Designers
Client Vs Designers is a board game for two players, inspired by the adversity between clients and designers. The design draws on the traditional game Animal Chess and adapts its structure into a playful format. Key job positions on each side are illustrated and given different rankings, so the two players can battle and overpower each other. Common points of frustration for each side act as traps. The playing pieces are transparent acrylic cut to shape and screenprinted with illustrations. The board is printed with metallic colors on paper that recalls the original game.
Client Vs Designers Board Game by Benny Leung was recognized as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Client Vs Designers Board Game won the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2025. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
