Y Design Visual Identity

Y Design

Using Escher's optical illusion principle, a cuboid is drawn along the Y axis of the structural line, and the same cuboid is duplicated on the X and Z axes, so that the endpoints of the three cuboids are completely overlapped, and a geometric Y letter can be formed on a projection plane. Through different combinations, different optical illusions are generated, and more spatial imagination is derived, conveying the positioning of Y Studio's research in different spaces.

Y Design Visual Identity by Lin Hai was highlighted as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Y Design Visual Identity received the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that honors exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
