Flowing Diffusion
Flowing Diffusion is a residential interior for an apartment of 462.8 square meters. The living and dining areas share an open plan that expands the sense of space and hosts more guests. A curved ceiling of metal and translucent panels joins the two areas, and the lighting changes color to suit different occasions. A wavy titanium coated metal facade lines the walkway. Titanium coated metal, metallic paint and large tiles are used throughout. Separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the social area reduce disturbance between family members.
Flowing Diffusion Residence by Chien-Chien Peng was featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Flowing Diffusion Residence received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
