LS Twin Stars
Ls Twin Stars is a reception center completed in Taiwan in June 2024. The design is based on the theme of home protection. Layered shield shapes form the facade and give the building the appearance of a fortress. The exterior uses wood wool cement boards with flexible polyurethane coatings, which allow expansion and contraction in a seismic environment. Metal lacquer gives the outer walls a semi-reflective finish. Inside, curved concentric walls radiate from a central model display area. Wood veneer and stone veneer create a warm and stable atmosphere.
LS Twin Stars Reception Center by UP Town New Interior Design was identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. LS Twin Stars Reception Center earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2025. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
