Peri
Peri is a chair inspired by the Tupi Guarani culture and its close relationship with nature. The name comes from a Tupi Guarani word meaning field of reeds. The base is made of solid wood, while the seat and backrest are made of sisal, a natural and biodegradable fiber. Computer controlled machines shape the organic form of the wood, and the finishing is completed by hand. The chair measures 610 mm by 545 mm by 845 mm. The ergonomic shape supports comfortable use. Peri joins traditional craft techniques with sustainable production methods.
Peri Chair by Luan Del Savio has been recognized as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Peri Chair won the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which celebrates excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
