Peach Blossom
Peach Blossom is a residential interior for retirement living, completed in Taiwan in 2021. The home covers 109 square meters and contains four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and two bathrooms. The living room has a mountain-shaped ceiling and a peony installation made from four materials and more than seventy panels, hand-assembled in thirteen layers. The dining area wall combines thin tiles with gold-leaf sconces. Marble, granite, cypress wood, mirrors and titanium gold finishes are used throughout. The kitchen was enlarged for easier daily cooking.
Peach Blossom Residence by Wan-Ting Hung has been selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
