Serene Moon
Serene Moon is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in 2023. The layout is open plan, so the study, living room and dining area are visible from the main entrance. The study is enclosed with Moru glass set in a white iron frame, which keeps the area light and transparent, and it can serve as a guest room or a quiet workspace. A hidden door near the dining area preserves privacy while keeping the wall surface continuous. Reclaimed railway wood is used in the entryway, and a hand-painted gradient wall recalls distant mountain ranges.
Serene Moon Residence by Shiu & Space Interior Design Co., Ltd. has been highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Serene Moon Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
