Shanghai New Bund Mansion

Shanghai New Bund Mansion is an experience center located in a low-density residential area along the Huangpu River. The interior covers 1200 square meters and is divided into two zones. The south side holds reception and display areas inspired by the quiet luxury of a Shanghai-style hotel. The north side follows an outdoor garden concept and encloses four model rooms. A green velvet curtain, an arc-shaped stone wall, a black reception desk and a mirrored ceiling shape the visitor route. The design adapts a constrained office building into an open and inviting space.

Shanghai New Bund Mansion Experience Center by Jian Zhang has been highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Shanghai New Bund Mansion Experience Center received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
