Echo of Serenity
Echo of Serenity is a private residence interior design in Taipei, Taiwan, covering 198.35 square meters. The entry corridor uses dark stone flooring, dark wood veneer ceilings and matching wall panels to form a grounded threshold. The main living area shifts to light wood veneer ceilings, textured wall coatings and seamless flooring, which increase openness and light diffusion. Fabric and leather furnishings soften the lines. The layout is barrier-free. The interior is intended as a calm retreat from the pace of the city.
Echo of Serenity Private Residence by Tinway Cheng was identified as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Echo of Serenity Private Residence earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
