Sunlit Path
Sunlit Path is a four-story villa interior located in the mountains of northern Taiwan. The residence spans 353.1 square meters and uses staggered levels and open transitions instead of a conventional vertical layout. The ground floor holds the garage, foyer, and storage. The second floor contains the living room, dining area, and a bar counter linked to an outdoor terrace. The third and fourth floors hold bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a study. Sycamore wood surfaces and a dark grayscale palette define the interior. Cat perches and a custom staircase platform allow pets to move freely.
Sunlit Path Residence by Debby Chen has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sunlit Path Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
