Tangent Pendant Light

Tangent

Tangent is a pendant light designed for architectural spaces. The form is based on geometric patterns created from circles and their tangents. Each pattern can be adapted to the character of a space or shaped according to user preference, so the dimensions vary by project. The body is made from an extruded aluminium profile that is bent into the chosen pattern. An LED light is fitted inside the profile. The top cap and the diffuser are laser cut and attached to the body. The aim is a tailored lighting solution for each interior.

Tangent Pendant Light by Seyed Shahriyar Shahriyari has been recognized as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Tangent Pendant Light was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2025. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
